So, as the dust settles regarding the premiere of Legend of the Chained Oak, Id like to thank everyone who attended for their support. I met some remarkable people and it was a joy to see such a diverse mix of people venture out to see our film. The stories I was told were fascinating and it was great to finally meet some of you I speak to online in person. On behalf of the cast/crew and volunteers of the Discovery centre, Thank you. We made £474 which will be split between the Food bank and the Discovery Centre. Again, thanks to all who came! Thanks to Mike Plant, Rick, Al and the rest of the team at the Discovery centre for making the whole thing possible! Cheers guys, you were brilliant! The winner of the raffle was MIKE NIXON. He went home with a shiny copy of The Soul That Screamed whether he liked it or not! Everybody involved in the project and the screening can feel proud. Feedback regarding the movie was largely positive. Many spoke about their surprise regarding the overall quality, more still wanted a sequel! A few wondered why I had made such a sharp exit from the film si I spent a vast portion of the evening explaining my fear of the camera. On a personal note, last night ranks as the highlight of my young career so far. The warmth and positivity shown towards me was both heartwarming and unexpected. Thank you. All of you.
