So, as you all know, my life has been a teeny bit chaotic lately. Stress has been at an all time high and Ive neglected to be responsible in many areas. Im ashamed to admit that Ive let poor Bruno get fat. Not just a little chunky, but morbidly obese. Truly, it happened little by little, and feed room raid by feed room raid, until he is at the point where he could die from it. So, two days ago, with a bit of medication for the pain due to the stress on his joints, Bruno started his weight loss journey with a trip down the barn aisle. He has received a tetanus booster in preparation for his hoof trim and his diet has been completely overhauled. His sight is partially occluded by the fat rolls, and he may eventually need surgery to remove the stretched skin, but the very first step is weight loss. Wish us luck!! Oh..and anyone wanna volunteer to help trim feet or take turn encouraging him to exercise???
