So, at Edge, we played Shipwreck. In that game I called out "Man overboard!" and in that moment roughly 80 middle schoolers were running around to get into groups of 3 where one person is in the middle while the two put their arms out to keep the middle person in between. I caught one boy, a little sixth grader, running around trying to find a group. He saw a group of two girls and ran up to them. Instead of putting one girl in the middle, he scooted them apart so HE could be in the middle. I mentally applauded the little bloke in admiration of his brave move.
