So, at one of the First Bank branches inside the Alaba - TopicsExpress

So, at one of the First Bank branches inside the Alaba International Market, I filled out the Local Fund Transfer Form. After waiting for several hours, the lady called me. Take a look at your signature. Why is the signature on the form different from the one on the records? She asked, pushing her PC and turning the screen so that it faced me. I peered at the screen. I couldnt see anything wrong with my signature. Whats the matter with my signature? I asked her, poising for a showdown. Cant you see? She queried. Cant you see the difference? What difference? There is an o encasing everything. I cant find it on the specimen in the system, she explained. Oh, I sighed. The o is embedded inside the scribbling. The desk I used previously was uncomfortable as a result of the jostling crowd, I added. Okay. Sign it again. She pushed the form towards me. I took my time to sign the signature. The o was visible above the scribbling. Why did the o still appear? Take the form to that man over there. I picked up the form. As I walked towards the next desk, I heard her mutter just under her breath, but audible enough for me to hear. Embedded. Keep speaking English. I pretended I didnt hear her.
