So, back in 1977, JC Penney Co. had automotive repair shops much like Sears still does. I purchased a battery for my 1973 KG there, and it came with a Full Warranty For as long as you own your private car or truck. Clearly they didnt expect very few purchasers to own their cars for decades, much less retain the sales receipts...Ive done both. When JC Penney closed all of their repair shops, Firestone agreed to honor all of their lifetime warranties. Ive replaced my battery several times over the years AT NO CHARGE at local Firestone stores.
