So been keeping my eyes and ears away from everything going on in Missouri, however there is oddly something that caught my eye about the situation....the amount of looting that is taking place in the city. Obviously the city is in complete disarray at this point, but why looting seems to break out when things like this happen I will never understand. Unless those businesses are clearly part of the Racial Issues taking over the city at this point, why loot? These are businesses run by people in your community who, there is a good chance of, are probably just as outraged at the situation as you are. All this is doing is increasing the sense of hostility and anger currently permeating the city. There is probably a deeper reason for why these people are choosing to loot (perhaps economic, I dont know know anything about Ferguson, MO to make a judgement on the cities population), and while the attention on this situation should obviously be focused more heavily on the violence and extreme militarization of the police force, this is something that needs should be addressed as well. If you are going to protest and stand-up for what you believe was an extreme social injustice, it is necessary to due so without causing damage/harm to bystanders.
