So been thinking about Fats how its perceived as being a bad thing. Because the first thing the majority of people think is shit the bed, if I eat fats Im going to get fat obviously which I can assure you is a load of bull crap. If you go away and eat all the wrong fats, then yes you are you will gain fat, and know one wants that. But also what is no good are these labeled low fat meals, yoghurts, and sweets. Ok they maybe are low in fat, but they will be high in sugar and when we consume too much sugar that can no longer be stored as ready energy its then transferred to our little friend fat. Also again the over consumption of carbohydrates again when we have eaten and stored what we can store, the remainder doesnt just dissipate. Guess what??........ Its also stored as fat adipose tissue. So choose your carb intake carefully, and keep sugars to a low! (They are the driving force of fat storage) So what is so good about fats and why wont I get fat off eating fats? Well to start off fats yield double the energy of carbs and proteins. They dont raise your insulin levels anyway near the high which carbs, or sugars will (hence a mid morning crash after a Kellogg breakfast cereal). Fats will give you prolonged energy levels its a fact. Eating the right fats convey a abundance of beneficial health factors, especially in trying to reach that optimal lean body composition. They promote optimal health and hormone regulation, so why we ever think low fat diets are good Is past me. Reason being your hormones regulate on fat! So why want poor hormonal regulation?...... Not me!! Not only do essential fatty acids have a key role in hormonal regulation but they are full of essential nutrients. Research show that these fats dont only promote optimal leanness but also prevent cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Also these awesome fats help digestion and enhance protein synthesis in response to strength training and reducing muscle soreness. Now tell me why you wouldnt want to consume Good Fats??
