So, being the bad parents we are, I have to share this story to make your night, because it made ours. It gets dark early, so Eli and DJ are often running around inside the house and play hide-n-seek. I know over the last couple of weeks that DJ has had a growth spurt, because we had to buy all new jeans last week, however I dont think until tonight DJ really knew what that meant for him. We hear DJ calling out for help, but cant quite figure out where hes at.. Eli is standing at his bedroom door looking as puzzled as we are. After a pause and another listen, we realize DJ is somewhere in Elis bedroom, and lo and behold, we find him... UNDER THE BED....STUCK....(yep, there are giggles and chuckles on our part-thats the bad parent in us).. Dunnie lifts the bed and lets DJ out... We are reassured he is more than ok... Pride on the other hand is totally shot. As we are giggling and leaving the room, here comes a soft (and actually very innocent) voice. DJ, do you need a bandaid? Yes, please join us in snickering.....
