So....big decision to make. As a lot of you know, I recently got a job at Pets Corner. Fifteen hours a week, minimum wage but bonuses, great place, easy work, all around good deal. However, I also interviewed at a book store around the same time. I called them back to let them know I was now employed elsewhere...and the manager called me back. They want me. But not the part time sales assistant job I interviewed for, no, no. Full time supervisor. 15 000 a year. Thats enough for us to live on. The thing is...with the mental health issues Ive been having lately, Im really not sure Im ready for a full time job yet. The job at Pets Corner is perfect for me, low pressure, great environment, welcoming co-workers, work Im passionate about, and the possibility to advance when Im ready. The bookstore would be full time immediately, much higher pressure, and an unknown in terms of coworkers and such. And while 15 000 a year is enough for us to live on, its JUST enough. Is that worth risking my mental health for? I have until the end of the week to decide.
