So books are pretty swell. I am currently reading the sequel to The Quantum Thief, The Fractal Prince, by Hannu Rajaniemi. High concept post-human sci-fi that pretty much requires a glossary. Lots of really neat ideas. The author is a physicist and an expert on string theory and quantum gravity. So yeah, its fairly hard sci-fi. No magical faster than light or artificial gravity, all takes place within the solar system. But it also has literary sensibilities. Before that I re-read The Sandman by Neil Gaiman. My lovely hardcover omnibuses. For years people told me to read it and they were right. If you havent you should. And before that I re-read the Harry Potter series. Sfun. Prior to that I read Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis for the first time. Also highly recommended. What have you been reading lately?
