So can I be sorta candid with all 17,000 of you? Funny enough, with the musical journey through the many genres I have flowed in over the years, I always come back to the melodic sound. In short, the one consistent theme that I always return too is Trance. And whats weird is that in a time where even some of the biggest purveyors of the genre are abandoning the label more than ever, I am embracing it right now maybe more than I ever have. Haha... Weird. Im not making some huge move right now or anything. Maybe just a slight directional shift back towards my roots. I have never really been like a rolling 140bpm trance guy, nothing wrong there, just has never been me, but the essence of what trance is has always been layered in nearly everything I have made. My sound from day 1 has always had depth, warmth, groove, soul, substance, melody and emotion. As Dom Phillips wrote in regards to Sashas San Francisco Global Underground album: You could call it trance. I call it magic
