So... chances have it I apply for background casting and it was weird. They ask me to audition... audition to stand in the background?... ok.... So it goes... Step into office... say my name... read a monologue (which I sucked btw)... and then she says shell put me in her database and hands me a paper to show up at a mock trail... ok.... So I go thinking Ill be an audience member or a non speaking juror... and... its an audition for principal leads... WHAT!? Im totally out of my element... everyone around me looks like a model... the audition is improvised (which I suck at) and I clearly do not belong here... so I just dont care... I deliver my character calm and diplomatic like I would behave in a courtroom while everyone else is going bat shit crazy with scenarios I couldnt pull off... I figured I sucked (am I did) but I was paired up with a hot asian girl playing my ex fiance who cheated on me (not that hard life experience to tap into lol :P). So Im told Ill expect a call back (yeah right) and I leave... Hours later I get a call from an unknown number... they want me on Wed... the hell????? lmao So good for me someone made a bad business decision. lol :) So the non actor gets a part I guess. I guess we all win once. lol
