So check this out… A few years ago I went with some of my RAs and club officers to Wal-Mart to get stuff for our annual Superbowl party. We were messing around, and one thing led to another. Things escalated quickly, and pretty soon, we were having a full-on 2-o-2 basketball game and dunk contest in the sports section. A worker came and warned us to stop… so, of course, we did. We continued shopping, but we had a game and contest to finish. So eventually, we came back and continued with our shenanigans. Less than 5 minutes later, we were literally kicked out of Wal-Mart. Yes… I was kicked out and escorted out of the ghettoest of all stores with my student. Here’s an interesting thing… that was not the first time that I was escorted out of that same store. About a decade before that, my brother Omar and I tuned all the radios to a Banda station and blasted the volume all the way up in all of them. The funniest part was that Monsters, Inc. was playing in all the TVs without any volume on them, and the movie seemed hilarious with an upbeat Banda soundtrack. Needless to say that they did not like that. Here is a list of things that I still want to try there: 1. Go into the dressing room and yell real loud, Hey, were out of toilet paper in here! 2. While handling guns in the hunting department, suddenly ask the clerk if he knows where the anti-depressants are. 3. Make a trail of orange juice on the floor, leading to the rest rooms. 4. Put a chocolate bar on layaway. Who wants to go with me? #randomfactsaboutObed
