So couple nights ago, I could not fall asleep, just laid in bed and watched the hours tick by, talking to the Lord. Finally I decided to get up and walked into the living room and turned the TV on to a Christian channel, where the pastor, who has since gone home to heaven, was talking about the coming of the Lord. He posed this question right at me... Why have you stopped looking for the Lords return? I sat there and thought.... he is right, I used to anxiously wait for Christs return, which caused me to be even more fervent with my prayers for the unsaved, and my conversation to others about Christ. But the concerns of life (working, raising kids, paying bills, etc) had taken its toll on my spirit of expectancy. I asked the Lord to forgive me and now everyday, I get up as if THIS day could be THE DAY!
