So disappointing to log on and see such hateful words about people of the Islamic faith. Please wake up. Please cross reference everything you read in the media. Dont just accept the hyped up and heavily manipulated stories that youre being told. Yes, there are people who practise Islam that do hate westerners to the point of wanting to kill, but considering the Western world has completely dominated the Middle East for the last 40+ years through unfairly balanced trade, military invasions based solely on political and economic gains and the unjustified, senseless killing of thousands of civilians in the countries we are supposed to be helping, I understand the hatred that some feel towards people who are a part of the Western system. There are people in every religion who make extreme interpretations of their religious texts, but they do not represent their religion as a whole, and it is therefore completely ridiculous to call for a ban on wearing the burka or to insist that Muslims should kill themselves based on the small minority of the Islamic faith who do preach their extreme views. I know that ignorance is bliss, but your ignorance allows our governments to continue their hate campaign against societies that do not oppose our religious ideologies or ways of life, but our ability to continue to make money and dominate the industrial and economic spheres at the expense of innocent lives.
