So each day I bring Indy out and go to put him back after his feed, he slips under the electric tape, looks at me and walks to the gate, nudges it, looks at me, nudges the gate then stares into the distance. After 2 times oh him hinting.. Silly mum isnt with it enough to follow through on his hint the first time around even tho I said, I bet you would like to go off the property huh Indy? Well yesterday I looked to see if he would ask me a third time, he slipped under the tape and to the gate he went and waited. This time I said okay, Indy, where would you like go? Sure enough he headed exactly where I thought he would, strate out the gate and down the road he led me to a nice patch he thought was good to stop. Funny how in everyday life we can loose that touch and even be aware we are out of touch. As often in life sometimes we need to stop and just say to ourselves, listen to what you know, and follow through on that intubation, remembering when we are with our horses, pit mindset must change, aloe that change to take place, openly, without concern, just let it flow. Well for me Ive certainly had a rough years and am surely not as grounded as I was to start, but its time to let out a deep long sigh of relief and be thankful that the battle is over we came out stronger and grew through out the struggle, but its past now, time to let it go and move on. Thanks Indy, I needed the clarity to be able to feel able to do that, thank you for the reminder to say its okay.
