Mr. Pelletier said that at times he had lost his temper and yelled at some officials, but added that the judges written order omitted relevant context. Everything that came out of my mouth—what was said prior to that, what instigated that—they always leave that part out, he said. You scream at me for half an hour, then I respond to your screaming. Judge Johnston wrote that the actions of the Pelletiers had prevented him from awarding them conditional custody. The parents, either directly or indirectly, continue to engage very concerning conduct that does not give this court any confidence they will comply with the conditions of custody, he wrote.
