So elated to be able to type this message. I was so near death that its all I can think and talk about. It all started out with a bad avocado reaction, then a horrible intubation where I wasnt put under but was still paralyzed. The air bag had a whole in it so I wasnt getting very much oxygen. So when I got a free hand I pulled the tube out. When they loaded me on the air support helicopter I stopped breathing completely. I was laying there staring at the monitor watching 90 O2 turn to 80,70,60,50,40 I was watching it but couldnt talk couldnt breath nothing. Just lay there thinking Im fixing to die. I guess they got the tube down at that point bc I dont remember anything after that. I know this sounds dramatic but it was. Just when I was on the road to recover I started having seizures so bad they had to intubate me again. I aspirated vomit into my lungs so they drained them and started me directly onto antibiotics. I only had one night of fever so they stopped the phenmonia before it barely started. They started a feeding tube for me bc I was so worried the baby couldnt grow without food. The first thing I asked when I woke up was if my baby was alive and thank the Good Lord our sweet baby is doing well!! Big Trouper!! Im in the NICU and they extubated me last night. I feel God has given me a second chance and Im taking it!!! My life changes now today. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers and please keep them coming for no more seizures! 🙏👩👨👶👼
