So far, 2014 nothing too serious happened until March 8 and its been a mystery ever since. February 16 – Nepal Airlines Flight 183, a de Havilland Canada DHC-6, crashes near Khidim about 40 nautical miles south-west of Pokhara, Nepal, killing all 18 people on board. February 17 – Ethiopian Airlines Flight 702, a Boeing 767-300ER, is hijacked by the co-pilot while en route from Addis Ababa to Rome, but lands safely at Geneva. All 202 passengers and crew are unharmed. March 8 – Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, a Boeing 777-200ER en route from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport with 239 people on board, disappears from radar over the Gulf of Thailand about 40 minutes into the flight. Now, today: March 13 - US Airways Flight 1702, an Airbus A320 en route from Philadelphia, blew a tire while taking off and prompt it to abruptly come to a stop.
