So far (27 Jan) in 2014, 407 checklists have been uploaded to eBird, reporting 552 species, counting 1.9 lakh individual birds. The most widespread species? Common Myna, appearing on 47% of lists, then Indian Pond-Heron (43%), Black Kite and Rose-ringed Parakeet (42% each) and Red-vented Bulbul (40%). Take a look yourself.
