So, for 2015 I want to set a goal of recording a DIY solo album which is something Ive wanted to do for years. Working with other people has rarely ever worked in the past and has always been a huge frustration for me. Things like having difficulty trying to schedule plans to work on things with other people and never having my equipment because its at someone elses house because its too much of a pain to pack up and move multiple times a week has held me back. Id also like to put together a fun, unique, and entertaining live show when its finished (possibly a visual album or try to work in live actors/actresses) that will help translate the meaning of the music into something more visual and also help keep people engaged and interested since most of the stuff I make tends to be too dreamy, drawn out, boring, and anticlimactic for the majority of people. Also, if anyone would like to help JC Tree and I (Positive Projections) re-record our album let me know. We almost had it finished in time for the holidays but the entire thing ended up getting erased and now we have to start from square one if we ever actually want to put it out. Wed like to record it from beginning to end live in one take or record live studio takes of the songs with very long intros and outros to be blended together when we mix and master it.
