So for all you Geeks out there here is a brief overview of what we have provided to KAOSs Production of Dont Stop the Music. Kingsbury High School is not a venue that is really equipped for a show this demanding so the first challenge was how to power the rig. Well having run cables across the roof of the main building we have managed to pull in the 120Amps we required. Also as the stage is small a huge apron has been built to bring the action right out to the audience but how to light this area with no overhead positions was challenge number 2. Well we have build a structure either side of the stage which totalled 32 meters of Tube and 22 Clamps also 20 Doughty De rig arms are used to suspend the moving lights. The Lighting consists of 20 moving lights (12x Martin TW1 80V and 8x Martin Mac 700 profiles) we have lit the ceiling with 20x Coemar Parlite LED Fixtures and thrown in a few ETC Source Fours and Source Four Pars to make sure this talented cast is fully lit. On top of this we have supplied a Show LED 8ch Star Cloth and we have built our own LED Driver system to run 9 Channels of RGB tape across the Treads. Atmosphere consists of 2x Look Solutions Unique Hazers. Sound we have provided our Martin Audio System for FOH which consists of 4x WT2 and 2x WS2A Speakers these are driven by a Martin Audio DX1 and 3xQSC RMX 2400 Amps. We have added 6x JBL Control 1s as a Front fill which are driven by a QSC RMX 850 Amp. We have 16x Sennheiser EW300 G3 Radio Mics on the show and these are all Mixed with our Allen and Heath GL2400 Mixer. We are also using 2x BSS Opal Graphics and 2x Klark Teknik Square One Dynamic processors.
