So, for anyone that did not stay for review today ... she talked briefly about our cardiac test! We will be split up in two groups since she does not allow students to test sitting next to each other (..duh..) and we are a huge class. It will be 75-80 questions. There will be (about) 3 select all that apply, NO audio (since we are split up), a hot spot question (ex: a picture of a chest asking mark where you would listen to the apical heart rate), there will also be an EKG strip asking us to identify the rhythm (ex: normal/regular sinus rhythm with 2 PVCs; atrial fibrillation; and so on), pharm will be incorporated into the test questions (she talked about this a little in class a few times), and there will be some math questions. Its a scantron test with a page of alternates (math, hot spot, EKG, etc) that need to be hand graded then they evaluate the exam and post grades by the afternoon. She WILL go over the exam after they are all turned in but will stop if it turns into a debat or argument. After our cardiac test, professor David will be teaching on ABGs since we are starting respiratory ... :)
