So... for anyone who has been following my posts for the last two years... Dr Cabbie opens at Cineplex theatres across Canada this weekend. Yes! My first written feature film, comes to the big screen on what would have been my dads 67th birthday - this Friday September 19th. Dad always told me he would be there...and he will be. Though many who see it will not know it, I have woven Dads spirit and many of my friendships and the love I continue to receive into parts of the film. Through this story I have tried to honour friendship, champion love, herald hope and build a bridge between cultures using compassion and laughter. Dad would be proud. I will be catching the opening of Dr Cabbie with my family and friends at Silver City London (at Masonville Mall) - the 7:20 screening . If you can come it would be great to see you there...
