So for my Sunday morning sermon: Just when I thought that Islam held the sole propriety on religious violence this reference from Leviticus 24:16 shows that there is more than just the same blood that runs through all of us: anyone who blasphemes the name of the Lord is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native born, when they blaspheme the name they are put to death. Somebody please pass me the bread and wine. Lets party. Thats more fun than sharpening our swords.
