So, for the first time since mid-February, I am going back to work tomorrow! Thank you Lord for the blessings in my health. I will start a few weeks of half-days, then back to teaching full-time again. Many of you dont know the whole story, but to give you a brief update. I have a recessive gene that causes a liver enzyme issue. That is why I had a large amount of lactic acid and the white lesions on my brain. My parents have been tested to see which one it came from. We should know either the end of October or in November. The suggestion from the genetics doctor at Mayos suggested that I see a dietician and work on a healthier diet. That appointment is next week. I feel good, and I am determined to be better this year! Thank you for all the prayers, cards, thoughts, etc. for everything we have endured since February. It is very true that we have an awesome God!!! And I thank Him every day!!
