So for the past forever my newsfeed has been racked with how amazing Frozen was. Before anything, the message was great. I really liked how the central theme was Love heats up any cold heart and repairs. I liked that as I myself a believer of God, that was pretty relational to my Fathers love. (For our GOD is an all consuming fire. Heb.12:29). I was wowd by the animation, and the comedy was new for Disney. More modernized, and I did find myself laughing quite a bit. Does she know how to knock? Things Im not sure about. I like a good movie that leaves me theorizing and interpreting sub-plots or sub-themes. I love re-watching to find other gems hidden.. Disney and Pixar have been EXCELLENT with this. In their child-like motion of representing real ideas and real emotion. This movie however, was not so subtle. Things I did not like, I had high expectations for the movie, and I honestly had a small expectation of holding back tears at some point. The powerful lines in the trailer, were actually very simple and placed in very non-emotional aspects of the movie. I also didnt like how we had a brief explanation of someone who would be one of the main actresses; Elsa. There were some points I had no idea if she were the hero, or the anti-hero/ It was pretty sketchy in determining what was going on. Who/Where/What and when was that random Abominable Snowman? Also its famous song Let It Go - Whoa. Great, great song. Did it fit with the musical, No. In comparison, it was like playing football with your friends, then randomly playing for the NFL, then going back to your friends. It was so great, it was misplaced. Overall, I give the movie a 6/10. PLEASE defend your opinions and change my mind!
