So for the positive stuff...major love and shout outs to the creators who allowed me to rock out during their presentations. These guys are all my friends and really have great causes and I appreciate these people and their contributions to the art scene in general: To Elisha Parris, Robin Williams, and especially Love Reigns (cause she booked me this go round ;-) ) Thank you for letting me rock out. Vote #20079 for the LaVilla Art & Music Project with the hopes of seeing the LaVilla Urban Arts Festival come to full fruition. To Chris Slade and Tabitha Higgs who were personally great to work with and I very much appreciate you guys and hope many successes. This weekend shows the value but also the work Unconventional Hip Hop has and has before them. I believe in you guys and you rock. Vote #20822 for the presentation of Unconventional Hip Hop, the world needs to know that Hip Hop is more than just what you see on television. A few other creator friends, whom I did not rock with this weekend but who have my full support out of those whom I was aware were creators this year: Mal Jones #20805, that live cypher has been the most consistent and consistently positive thing that is entirely hip hop the last 3 years, I want to see that continue, it is significant to the culture of hip hop in this city. Seven SoulJones, Jaimz ChillinDillian Mallett, Moses West, Samantha Watson-Corbitt, yall know Im down with the Exos!! We should be blazing major stages! Felicia Toliver with Mellie Melly Babies TM #20890 proviing child care services that educate our melanated babies in a fashion oriented just for them. and last creator I am aware of off the top of the head would be the infamous The Katz Downstairz with Christopher White, E Don Action-Jackson, D DAngelo Green, Cearrow Muri, and the gang...I couldnt make it this time around, but I already know, vote #20509 for the best damn band in town man.
