So, for the week leading up to the day I was diagnosed with fibro, I was training with a kitchen to be a cook. It was during one of the shifts that I got super sick and was throwing up and then had half of my body go numb by that night when I was at home. I went to the doctor and got diagnosed, yadda yadda. The first shift I worked, I was asked to come in to try it out for an hour or two. They said I could stay as long as I wanted to train, so I stayed 7 hours. I logged it on the hours list. Now theyre saying it was a working interview, and I wont be compensated for it. Should I not have been told this in advance of me working and staying longer? The total cheque is less than $200 and theyre doing this.. Lol. Its not like I woke up wanting half of my body to be essentially useless and in so much pain I could barely move. But theyre acting like Im an inconvenience to them. SORRY but I guarantee its 150x shittier for me than iy is for them..
