So for those of you who might not have heard, I got into a rather major car crash this past Friday. I had just crossed Bell on Sherman (headed toward the now defunct Piggly-Wiggly) when two vehicles in front of me slammed on their brakes. I stopped in time, only to be rear-ended by a truck (with a flatbed attached). I got shoved into the truck in front of me and essentially was smooshed like cream in an oreo. While drifting in and out of la-la land, I heard the driver of the truck behind me vehemently speak these words, Man, I wished I hadnt run that red light! I got the dubious honor of riding to Denton-Presby hospital in an ambulance strapped to a backboard. Yay? I have major contusions on my stomach (one that looks like a UFO currently). I also have cervical and lumbar sprains. I dont have any bruising on my face, but my left eyebrow and above is sore to the touch, and I have a sore spot on my skull on the same side. My right knee feels like it got overextended and my left ankle is extremely displeased with me. A few other minor things here and there, but largely, I got really effin lucky. My car was totaled.
