So for those that know me and my job in latent prints, starting tomorrow I have been promoted to supervisor. But what is unexpected for most people is that it is supervisor of the Drug Chemistry section at the BCA. I still plan to teach fingerprint courses, attend some conferences, and run my consulting business, but my day to day duties will be supervising a great and highly motivated group of drug chemists. Big change for me but after meeting with them I encouraged that we can do some pretty great things.
