So friends, looks like I didnt get elected as a delegate to the CADEM convention after all. Just got this emailed to me: I wanted to let you know what our staff tasked with recounting found in regard to the AD 62 ADEM. Please see the email below. So, it looks like I WONT be a delegate to the CADEM convention this spring (see below). Im sure Michele will make a fine delegate. From: Chris Myers Date: Friday, January 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM To: Emma Harper Subject: ADEM 62 District Results Confirmation Emma- In reviewing all the materials received for the ADEM Election in AD 62, we were able to confirm the results and there was a change to the outcome. The results of the 6, 7, and runner-up on the female side were reviewed since those three were within 2 votes of each other. Results at the meeting: 6. Fabiola Ceja-Cervantes - 179 7. Marta Evry - 178 RU. Michele Sutter - 177 After reviewing all the votes cast and specifically looking at the three female candidates mentioned previously, we have new results. First we recounted all the votes for the three individuals. These were counted and double counted by the staff. Here are the results. After recounting the votes 6. Fabiola Ceja-Cervantes - 179 T7. Marta Evry - 178 T7. Michele Sutter - 178 Next, there was one ballot that was counted in the totals that was an overvote (voted for 15 candidates) and thus should not have been counted onsite. That ballot contained votes for both Ms. Ceja-Cervantes and Ms. Evry. Overvote removed from the totals 6. Fabiola Ceja-Cervantes - 178 7. Michele Sutter - 178 RU. Marta Evry - 177 Thus we have concluded that Michele Sutter is confirmed as the ADD Rep for Assembly District 62 and Marta Evry is the runner-up. Thanks, Chris
