So getting my car inspected in Ewing and walked over to harbor freight to browse around to kill time. On the walk back to the shop I hear a siren behind me in the plaza parking lot. I stop waking of course to be greeted by a state trooper that noticed I was wearing an EMT hat. He asks if I could sit in the patrol truck with him. So I do...he begins to tell me about the current situation with the high hostility and we chit chat and exchange thoughts...he then asks me if I feel in danger in my field. I say slightly yes I do and I say if its an officer down call then most definitely I do. And the trooper agrees he then asks if I drink coffee. I said ofcourse I do. So he takes me to a DD and gets us free coffee lol. He then asked where I needed to go I told him the shop were my jeep is. So we pull up and sat for a few and talked about our professions some more...then his call sign comes over the radio saying please respond to so so location officers in need of immediate back up multiple suspects involved taunting the officers may be armed proceed with extreme caution. I hopped out of the truck shook his hand firmly looked him in his eyes And said god bless you make sure you have a Merry Christmas. I couldnt tell you the appreciation I saw in that troopers face for that instant. I hope he and the officers on scene make it home for Christmas. God bless all police forces and troopers. Out there keeping us locals safe. Thank you for your commitment officers and troopers. I know I support you guys all the way.
