So glad i chose to investigate this myself now that the verdict is out. I see fault on both sides of this story. Do I believe Wilson should have been indicted and charged with murder. No. Do I think his career should be over and he should never work in Law Enforcement again. Absolutely. The simple fact of the matter is Michael Brown attacked an officer of the law and tried to take his gun after being asked to stop walking in the middle of the street like a privileged ass and use the sidewalk. He crossed the line first. Wilson crossed the line second when discharging his weapon six times at a fleeing, unarmed suspect. If you cant make rational decisions in high stress, life threatening situations, then you are not cut out for the kind of work that a police officer is required to do. He made bad decisions based on emotion and stress, and a cop cant buckle to those factors when making the choice to shoot someone. He chose to kill rather than immobilize. This is my opinion, and I may be wrong, because maybe Im interpreting the evidence incorrectly. Im willing to hear a rational argument on the matter at this point, but it doesnt negate the fact that this country is inching ever closer to a Military Police State, and that racism is still a thing, because it is. Ive seen it. Ive seen whites be racist to blacks, Ive seen blacks be racist to whites, and everything in between. Its everywhere, and while everyone is pointing fingers and blaming the other color, our planet is falling apart and the corrupt profit-mongers are tightening their death grip on the economic control over the masses that they have held for the past 60 or more years.
