So glad to say that my BSF is stable. Upon my arrival to the ER - TopicsExpress

So glad to say that my BSF is stable. Upon my arrival to the ER at UPMC East, I received a text that he blood pressure had spiked. My visit would have to be calm and not all that awfully long. I was prepared. Hospitaling has almost become an avocation...how awful...but I know what you need. I took her a roll of Cottonelle. Hospital TP is itchy, not soft and made from tree bark. No fun. I also got her from Hallmark an angel statue which read Friends are our Invisible Angels....I loved it. I did not know she was diabetic or I forgot. I got her four pieces of secret chocolate which she could not have. Her BS was 191. Too high. She needed straight insulin. She had had a verrry stressful day. Our husband here of hers, who I picked up for her at Montgomery Wards in 1978...yes..and they married...28 years.......hmmph...me no finders fee...LOL....brace yourselves... had to stand and watch Barbara get a large shock wave through her body that made her body jump. Bob just about cried. It was so painful to watch this be the only way to put her heart back into some kind of normal rhythm. But, mortaility shaking...absolutely. Your wife...huge jolt...her body jumps...and inside, you scream but no one will hear. Your own heart jumps as well. I stayed on Facebook today crazed as I am certain many of you read my constant statuses. I yelled to Jesus....I I Love Jesus Christ....NOT my B S F. Not at all. I prayed aloud with many of your help....for her to be spared. I was not myself at all under such stress of my Bestie having a heart attack, younger than me by six months.....my mortality thought a lot...but I have totally changed my eating. Got out of diabetes and I know she can as well. Due to the weight, the getting out might be a very hard thing to do. So many of you are so serious with diabetes, that daily, you shoot yourselves with insulin so you can live. It is so serious a disease. Do not ever take it lightly. It can kill you if left untreated and unmonitored. I am, of course, so tired from all of todays activities. Moving at the speed of sound, racing to shop for my house at my favorite place Family Dollar and Bottom Dollar Food...whew.....I am whipped. Thanks be for all Prayers Daily. Jesus Daily has helped me through this day. Praise be to God. Barbara Page Massy lives. She is at UPMC East, Monroeville, PA 15146. Maybe you have a stamp...a card from Family Dollar or Dollar Tree....send it. And tell her I said you would because she would meet some of the finest people anywhere. Right here on good ole Facebook.
