So, going into 2015.....I felt as if I still hadnt processed everything that happened to us in 2014. And I was dreading posting the news we got today, but Thanks to a woman that came up to our table at dinner tonight and told us she followed our Facebook page, was proud of what the kids have accomplished and gave us a donation to buy more toys.......She reminded me why we started the Facebook page in the first place. This is our journey, good, bad, lows and highs......and we share our story because we hope our journey will help others face whatever life throws at them. So, we took Savannah to an urgent care today, and they confirmed Savannah has a cyst/ mass on her rib. We were referred to a surgeon and wont know more until we meet with a specialist. But, what this family has taught me, is they never let it bother them. The kids took the news, laughed together, still went to dinner and continued the day as if to have never gotten the news. They arent ignoring the news, they just dont let the fear of what might be, ruin today. They are amazing kids, and if Savannah has to face another surgery, I have no doubt they will be stronger than me! We will update as we learn more about Savannahs new condition.
