So group, what are we really looking for here? Are we seeking a place to rant, a place for good conversation but being able to agree to disagree? I have been looking to see what business and career areas are showing up and really do not see any except for what Hal posted in Dec. Does any other veterans on here have any suggestions? I would be interested to read posts or ideas for Jobs in the Health area, like billing, coding for new graduates. I would be looking for me in Cameron, MO or in Indianola, IA.. I have found online 1000s of fill this out and attach resume for blowing up my email with check this and check that.. This really does not help because it seems my application for a position is put into a hamster wheel and just turns and turns. Any specific ideas on how to avoid the websites like this would be great or even if you know of websites that work & dont blow up your email box would be awesome. :) I have a goal of doing my independent coding/ billing, but you must work in the field and the best place to start is in an medical office and then to a hospital. This allows you be become Nationally certified, which then leads to becoming an independent coder/biller. I also like the records area. These are all part of Health Information Technology field, which I will graduate in May.
