So growing up, in the country, I used to hate when the male figures in my life took me fishing. I hated handling my own worm. There was always silence broken by awkward conversation. You see a fish, think youll get a bite, and they swim away. When you do,finally pull a catch, it was too small so you throw it back. Bonus was I was allowed to have a few beers. After a day of this, Id finally hook the perfect fish. Than Id have to rip its head off, pull out its insides, and descale it til it was suitable to consume. I find this metaphor applies to being single in my thirties. #allTheSingleCales
