So guys, I have a bit of a problem and Im hoping yall can help me - TopicsExpress

So guys, I have a bit of a problem and Im hoping yall can help me out until I figure out the best solution. Ive explained the reason for the delay of the second book in the Tangled Hearts Trilogy (Always Mine) more times than I can count, but obviously not everyone sees it each time I post it and so naturally they want to know WHEN it will release of if I have an UPDATE of any kind. But honestly if I took the time to compose a lengthy, detailed explanation plus offering my abject and sincere apologies every single time someone either asked on FB, tweeted me or emailed me then Id never get ANYTHING done EXCEPT respond to that question. Its THE most asked question and I typically get asked it about 6 times EVERY day whether its here, on twitter or email (the majority of my emails are about this subject) And Im NOT complaining! I UNDERSTAND that yall are naturally curious and impatient about this book. But at the same time, I cant realistically take the time to respond to each and every question each time its asked :( When I wrote Theirs to Keep, I originally planned to publish it in 2012 but because of my heavy release schedule and the fact that I had a VERY tight deadline/writing schedule, I knew I wouldnt be able to release the second and third books in a timely manner and I did NOT want to make my readers wait a significant period of time between releases. So I held off releasing Theirs to Keep until an entire year LATER, last October 2013. I released it then because I was going to have a gap of time early in 2014 to write and publish Always Mine and a gap in the fall in which to write/release Forever Ours, the third and final book in the trilogy. Unfortunately circumstances beyond my control completely screwed up my ENTIRE year. In January 2014, I had surgery and this began a lengthy and EXHAUSTING health battled that required THREE additional surgeries as well as three outpatient procedures. In addition to my surgical woes and VERY difficult recovery, I came down with the shingles for a second time in 8 months. You see, the year prior to this (2013) was equally horrible and very stressful. I lost my father unexpectedly and that was just one of the MANY difficult things I would experience in 2013 along with my FIRST case of shingles and a kidney stone to boot. So 2014 just EXTENDED my health woes and by mid 2014 I was at the end of my rope mentally and physically. I was struggling in all aspects of my writing. I got very behind on my contractual deadlines and writing a non contracted book was out of the question or Id be without a job! I typically average about 8 books a year. This year, and its nearly the end, Ive only thus far completed 4 books and will barely squeeze in a 5th in mid December and each and every one of them were SUCH a struggle for me :( Believe me when I say NO ONE is more disappointed and upset over the delay in publication of Always Mine than I am. I LOVE this trilogy SO much. I l love the characters, the premise and story line and the angst and emotion prevalent in the three book story arc. It was never my intention for there to be such a length gap between the first and second book. In fact, to date in my career, Ive NEVER made my readers wait more than six months for a subsequent book in a series and typically I only have a 3 month gap between books in a trilogy. Ive had to step back and reevaluate as well as cut back on deadlines and releases this year and while it hasnt really affected the number of releases THIS year since many of this years releases were written prior to my health issues but youll see the slow down NEXT year as Ive been writing next years releases THIS year. Its my hope that you guys will understand and FORGIVE the lengthy delay and I hope yall also understand how much I appreciate each and everyone one of your support. It truly means so much to me AND my family. I wouldnt be where I am today nor would I HAVE a career in writing if it werent for YOU. I am always mindful of that which is why it upsets me so much when I feel like Ive let yall down :( So to get to the FAVOR Im asking of yall, if its not too much to ask, if you guys see someone post a public post that is viewable by all and can be responded to by anyone that is asking the status of Always Mine (book 2 of the Tangled Hearts Trilogy) or when its releasing or if I KNOW when its releasing etc would you mind responding in my stead so that no one feels ignored? I wish I could respond personally to EVERY question/post. And usually I TRY to do just that. But for the last few weeks, Ive been absolutely slammed with work and serious family issues and my internet time has been VERY limited. I hope to be back in full force after the new year and Im desperately hoping for a MUCH better 2015 than 2013 and 14 have been! I dont think I can take another year like this one and last lol. So if youve posted to me, sent me a private message, tweeted me or emailed me in the last while, Im very sorry that I havent been able to respond. I DO read each and EVERY message and post, but my very limited time and my VERY tight, looming deadline prevent me from responding to each one. As I said, I HOPE to be back in January and Im VERY much looking forward to hanging out with yall on a regular basis again. I miss you guys AND our book dish very much! Please be patient with me a little longer and bear with me! Much love and deep appreciation
