So guys Ive just finished up watching Smackdown. I liked the show, it was interesting, some good matches. None I considered great but we had Ziggler back against Bad New Barret and a victory, which Im sure the fans loved. I was hoping the authority wouldnt interfere and I got my wish. Good writing from the backroom staff for once. Sometimes the authority always interfering and knocking down the face gets a bit tiring. I expected it in the Daniel Bryan match. But then I also expected Ryback, Ziggler, Ambrose and Reigns to interfere as the anti authority, I think that storyline and the anti authority group has been needed for some time. When it was one guy (Cena or Bryan) it wasnt exactly fun to watch, it was mainly one sided. Were just now seeing the two teams being even and some fight back to Trips and Steph. Reigns promo was better. The segment at the beginning was also good, Rollins proves even in the absence of the Authority, guys like him and Bryan can still carry the show for them. And Ambrose. I didnt think it was as good as last week when they debuted on Thursday, however it was still a very good show and Im happy to say the product has improved greatly in the last few weeks. Theyve mixed it up, played some risky storylines and I consider the re-introduction of the three fan favourites to be a smart move ahead of the Royal Rumble. That being said I think the Rumble is going to be a good show. Were all waiting for Orton to return which I think he will, once that happens the main event scene suddenly looks pretty packed which is a long way from what it was mid last year when it looked like the WWE really needed Lesnar. Now the up and coming stars are maturing with the limelight shined on them and were seeing the future of the WWE take shape.
