So headed home after a super long day and night, jump in the car get 3 blocks away from the venue and I get stopped. Cop: do you know why I stopped you? Me: nope Cop: you have an issue with you tag light So let me see your license and insurance Me: oh ok, one sec, here ya go Cop: you play music around this area dont you? Me: yes I sure do and Im just leaving a gig right now... Cop: oh yeah I remember because I saw you unloading your car one day when I noticed the issue with your tag the first time (as he hands me a ticket for a moving violation) Me: so officer basically what youre saying is that it wasnt your intent to inform me of the issue so that I could fix it or have it rectified but it was actually your intention to catch me driving with the issue so that you could give me a ticket?? Cop: well ummm Me: actually dont worry about it because Im too tired to go there with you right now but just take note of this situation and youll understand why civilian to law enforcement relations are soo bad. Its not about a cop gunning down a person because thats just the last straw on top of stuff yall do like this on a daily basis... have a good night sir!!!
