So, here I am, saying Ive been slacking again. :) I talked to Brynns pediatrician this week and she said Brynns pulse ox came back GREAT! The last time we did a pulse ox was back in April and Brynn was below 90% oxygen for 80% of the night. This time, she was only below 90% oxygen for 20% of the night! And even when she did go below 90%, it was only down to 88% or so. So this is wonderful news! However, she said that she talked to Brynns cardiologist before she called me and he would like to keep her on oxygen at night because of her pulmonary hypertension. So, weve been in contact with the pulmonary hypertension specialists office in Denver and are trying to get in to see them. At therapy on Wednesday, Brynn got to use this neat little device called Walking Wings to help her walk. Her physical therapist said its not exactly good to teach kids how to walk with their hands above their head because then they try to find their balance point like that. So we will be ordering some Walking Wings and see how she does with that :) And finally, some cute pictures from Halloween. Brynn was all about helping Braden Schwab scoop pumpkin guts and was just about the cutest little owl ever :)
