So, here I go again, always looking for the root of the problem. My problem solving skills were honed in trying to fix computer problems, sort of like trying to find a microscopic needle in a haystack the size of Texas. I always used my same method, over and over again, with remarkable success: gather and explore symptoms until you find a common link, a coincidence, and then recognize that it is probably NOT coincidental. Its like finding cockroaches and then following them until they merge at the source. They might look like they have nothing to do with each other but they inevitably lead you to a common source if you doggedly follow them. That is what I have tried to do in understanding the root cause of this continued wrongful conviction problem. In the case of wrongful convictions, I keep following the symptoms and they have now seemed to lead to a common source: the mutual cooperation between law enforcement and attorneys that encourages and accepts immoral behavior and hides this wrongdoing behind respective cloaks of attorney/client privilege and investigative secrecy. OK, advocates out there, what do you think?
