So here is my convoy theory, not based on any first hand facts, just on the six months of my observation on twitter of the involved journos and the experience we made with the Ukies during the recent months. 1. The convoy crawls in direction of the border, the British journos followed it over two days and reported now and then with pictures. The route is known to Ukraine. 2. At the intended gathering place, someone in the convoy decided to make a little show. If we want, we can also cross the border and nobody can stop us. After all there are no real borders there, no fences, no Ukies who could control. 3. The journos report that immediately, it is their moment of glory. The guys have been clearly hostile to Moscow over the past half year. 4. The convoy returns after that small display of caprice to the gathering place. 5. The British press blasts the story out to the world. All others are copying the story, even though there is not the slightest bit of evidence delivered apart from the statement of the journos. 6. Kiev hears the story and releases the invented statement of a military incursion and the successful elimination by Ukie forces. Pure hallucinations. 7. Nato sees the statement and confirms the incursion. Also a lie. 8. Russia is worried about news of a planned attack on the convoy and smells that the incursion story could be used as a pretext, sends military vehicles to be placed between the border and the convoy. 9. Ukraine and NATO use the Western press to blow up the sending of the Russian military vehicles as an eminent threat of invading Ukraine. At least this is how the mechanism work in this conflict and the different parties behaved so far.
