So here is my review of sin city. (SPOILERS) I think in order to do this film justice Ill give my opinion on each individual story than if it all works together as a whole. Marv revenge story 8/10 Damn that was awesome. It was a comic book come to life! Psycho guy and the chick from clerks 2 story. 6/10 Ehh kinda a step down didnt feel as comic bookey as the marv story but thats a big part of what made the marv story work The who Bruce Willis wishes he could be story 5.5/10 While this kind of held my interest it is defiantly the weaker of the two. The film as a whole 7/10 A good movie that held my interest while some parts are way better than others but this doesnt make the film disjointed. The visual style is amazing. It held my intrest throughout now the pay off or end to some of these storys were kind off lame. Like the marv revenge story I was expecting something way more gorey or grand than what we got.. Especially the whole Goldie mystery I was expecting who the killer was to be more than a whimpering priest. But than again I never read the books except for. Half of the marv story.
