So here is the story and why the black profile pic. My father in Houston has had another stroke. Apparently a bad one -- as though there could be a good stroke. He is still in nursing home, but now under intensive hospice care rather than just nursing care. He is unable to swallow or to speak. I do not have any info on other vitals or functions, but I heard no particular optimism when I spoke to my sisters. Sisters and mum are with him -- but they are not as hard data oriented as I am. Yes, I realize yesterday was rather busy for them as well, but I wish I had more hard data from them. Medicalese and fluff is not worthwhile information to me. Good to know that the machine that goes ping is going ping -- but what the hell does that actually indicate. I feel rather useless and worthless in it all -- being marooned here in Arkiesaw. However, there probably is not much I could do in Houston besides be worried along with everyone else and another distraction for doctors and nurses. His real doctor is due in to check on him again this morning. I trust her -- she is from India, not a USA pill-doc. Maybe more data later today. So -- please -- say a prayer, mumble a chant, light a candle, burn some incense, wiggle some beads, smoke a fatty in the lodge or make a big bowl of Flying Spaghetti for us. Whatever you do for healing energies or release would be greatly appreciated.
