So here is the thing....I LOVE doing hair and I am very good at it. I waisted my super power on bobby pinning. BUT I am NOT licensed. Ive had moments where Ive thought about getting licensed and even paid to enroll but timing was never right. Ive accepted that. I however understand why testing and certification are necessary!! We wouldnt allow others to mix and apply chemicals and such to our persons without license would we??! Doing my own hair and makeup calms me better than any over the counter drug. That being said...the idea of my momma, older sis, or baby sister walking into a salon where a person is not LICENSED but just DECIDES they are creative enough to provide services and is accepting money for hair and/or makeup just KILLS me. Get schooling...get Education on SANITATION practices... not just google procedures...stop pretending!! You could give someone an infection or DISEASE and cause serious harm. It is very unfortunate but women HAVE AND DO STILL kill themselves over such simple things as mess ups. TRUTH!! I want every person interested in the art to have their opportunity to shine!! But removing the laws put in place to PROTECT such things is idiotic at best. BE artistic, BE creative, LIVE your passion, support keeping regulation!! ~XOXO MY DARLINGS~
