It was my first performance since having major abdominal surgery just under three months before. I was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in June 2014. It had been symptomatic and making me very ill for half a year. I had to fly back from France and have it operated on as an emergency. It was too large for key hole surgery so I had to have a Laparotomy (which is the equivalent to a C section) Above is an insight into my journey. It wasnt easy and I wanted to show a side to me that not many people had seen during my recovery. Below is the performance at Miss Pole Dance UK 2014 where I was judging and guest performing. Its truly amazing how the body can go through so much trauma and then with lots of rest, rehab and hard work it can produce results like this.
