So here it is: my recently acquired 1997 Pinarello Paris, with a custom paint job to address one of the three big issues the bike had -- the faded and cracked paint it had on when I bought it. Problem #2 is addressed as well: I have secured a replacement for the cracked rear derailleur. Now all that is needed is to fix problem #3, which Im still in the process of diagnosing: its either a worn cassette or a worn freehub. Would any of you have a mid-90s 9-speed freehub body (or maybe even the complete hub) to sell? Im trying to keep things age-compatible, so Im avoiding fitting the bike with more modern versions of the parts (as much as I can).
