So here it is, something Im fortunate to have been a part of here - Leo Burnett Advertising A legend always inspires you to be more. #RoadToRamlee Ive always felt that a lot of musicians whore cover bands and love and respect their idols and play their music, at some level forget sometimes to add their own voice to the world for if their heroes hadnt who would they be covering? And this small film is somewhere about that theme. Ive been fortunate to come onto this project and be involved with some very spirited talent; Rewan Ishak who with his sincerety bowled me over as a director and co-writer, Ismail Kamarul who walked hand in hand with Rewan and Chow Chun Son as a producer every step of the way and a super talented, patient, hard working and camaraderie driven cast: Bo Amir Iqram (Super talented and a firecracker), Iedil Putra Alaudin, Cristina Suzanne Stockstill, Awang Masrin and Sean Lee. And all the hands on deck behind the scenes like Jordan and Kim who made this film look super beautiful and the set designers, spot boys, make up artists and the other actors.
